화순경찰서에서 의과대학으로 연락이 왔습니다.

화순에 거주 중인 외국인 학생들이 운전면허없이 전동킥보드나 오토바이를 타고 다니는 경우가 많습니다. 

훈계로 끝났는데 앞으로 단속할거라는 연락을 받았으니 의과학과 학생들은 필히 면허증을 지참하시고 주의해주시기 바랍니다.

Over the past 2-3 days, there had been multiple instances of Foreign Graduate School students in Hwasun riding motorcycle (2- wheelers) and electric keyboards (Deer, Swing, Cooter) without having a proper driving license and head gear. Many have been caught by Hwasun Policemen and were left after giving serious warning.

This is a serious issue pertaining to the current situation. You can only ride motorcycle or electric key board if you have the following:

1. A valid Korean driver’s license

2. Protective head gear

And the students who are commuting by bicycle should wear proper head gear all the time. The bicycles should only be parked in the bicycle stand and not anywhere else in the building. We have received lots of complaints that the students are parking their bicycles near the lab, in front of the main gate, etc., So please refrain from doing that.

The students are requested to strictly adhere to the above guidelines and the Korean laws and not to cause any discomfort either to the management or to the student’s themselves.
