Recruitment of Foreign Graduate School students in Hwasun Dormitory for the Spring Semester, 2022

 

1. Eligibility to apply

a. Graduate students enrolled in CNU Medical School (including those expected to return to school in 2022. 1st semester).

b. Researcher (Article 42, Paragraph 7 of the Operational Regulations (Persons involved in education and research at the University).

 

2. Dormitory usage period

a. Short term: 2022. 2. 20. (Sun) ∼ 2022. 7. 2. (Sat) (132 days)

b. Long term: 2022. 2. 20. (Sun) ∼ 2022. 8. 13. (Sat) (174 days)

3. Dormitory occupants selection procedure

a. Among the total number of applicants, the number of dorm occupants corresponding to the vacancy will be selected based on men/women dorm availability and in the order of grades of the previous academic year/semester.

b. The selected candidates can then opt online for their desired single room or double room on a first-come, first-served basis.

c. If the number of applicants exceeds the total number of occupants selected, then the selection is made in accordance with the dormitory selection regulations.

 

4. Application for dorm moving-in (Selected and wait-list candidates) and payment of dormitory fees

a. How to apply for dormitory

 - Hwasun dormitory website → "Portal login" → "Application for moving in."

b. Application and move-in information for selected candidates

- Check if your dorm application is selected in

‘MyPage-입주신청정보’에서 선발자 여부 확인→ ‘호실신청’ → 1인실 혹은

2인실 신청→ 신청완료→ 고지서인쇄→ 생활관비 납부→ 납부 확인→ 건강

검진→ 입주

c. Wait-list candidates’ confirmation

- ‘MyPage-입주신청정보’에서 대기순번 확인→ 공지사항에서 추가선발자 발

표일과 납부일 확인

d. Payment method

- ‘MyPage-입주신청정보’→ 고지서 인쇄(또는 금액과 가상계좌 확인) 후 광주

은행 또는 우체국 계좌로 납부

7. Health check-up

a. Health check-up information

- Candidates to be screened: All new residents

- Venue: Chonnam National University Student Center 2nd Floor Health Clinic

- Examination fee: 3,000 won

- Period: 2022. 2. 3. (Thu) ~ 2. 18. (Fri) 9:30 ~ 16:00 (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays)

If you cannot receive a health check-up at the on-campus health clinic, please submit the health check-up form (download from the website) to a medical institution for examination and then to a health clinic by Fax (062-530-3612)

b. Cancellation of move-in or move-out after a health check-up

- In case of contagious diseases such as active pulmonary tuberculosis (however, you can move in after being cured)

- Those who have not been screened during the above health check-up period

- Those who do not submit the results of the medical examination are not allowed to move in

 

8. Cancellation of selection

a. A person who has not paid the dormitory fee by the designated period.

b. Among those who applied for priority selection, those who did not submit relevant evidence during the relevant period.

 

9. Precautions

a. Any disadvantages caused due to the elapse of the application period and receipt period, false entries or errors in the application, non-submission of required documents, etc., are the sole responsibility of the applicant himself/herself.

b. Substitute occupants (person other than the allocated) will be subject to forced eviction. Both the applicant and the substitute occupant will be restricted from applying for dorm in the future.  

c. Changes to the contents of this notice will be posted on the Hwasun Dormitory website, so please check it at all times. Please be careful not to cause any disadvantages due to not checking the website notifications, etc.
