EDUCATION – Dual PhD program

ICB (Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas, Biomedical Sciences Institute) is located at University of Sao Paulo (Universidade de São Paulo, USP) in Brazil. This institute has seven departments (Anatomy, Cell & Developmental Biology, Pharmacology, Physiology & Biophysics, Immunology, Microbiology, Parasitology), 160 faculty members and 510 graduate students.

The doctoral candidate shall complete required courses in his/her department in first two years, carry out research for up to three years at the partner institute, and submit a doctoral thesis.

Foreign students in BMSGP will have tuition waived at USP and receive round-trip airfare and stipend from USP PI.

USP students will have tuition waived at CNU and receive round-trip airfare and stipend from USP PI.

MOU on dual PhD program between CNU and USP was signed in 2025.
